■ Hermès continues to work with Apple to launch new straps

At a recent new product launch, Apple unveiled the new Apple Watch Hermès Series 9 strap, which combines Hermès signature elements with technological innovation, made of webbing, weave and rubber, continuing the partnership with Hermès since 2015. Hermès said that the brand and Apple are committed to supporting consumers' daily lives and meeting people's needs for beautiful design, advanced technology, high-quality materials and exquisite craftsmanship.

As a sign of environmental protection, Apple has removed all leather iPhone cases and Apple Watch straps from its official website. Previously, Apple has planned to no longer introduce leather cases for the iPhone 15 and gradually abandon the use of leather materials. Instead, they'll use a new fabric material called "FineWoven" to make the Apple Watch strap. The use of fabric materials reduces dependence on animals and reduces environmental impact. Apple's decision to no longer use leather materials and switch to new fabric materials is also in line with industrial production, and the cooperation with Hermès also provides users with more choices. Taking the high-end and low-end routes at the same time is an attempt at Apple's product positioning.
